I can't lie, I first started saying Beyonce was my favorite because I thought she was pretty. Ever since I remember seeing Destiny's Child Bug-a-Boo video, I thought Beyonce was the prettiest to me. I was very young, in elementary school as a matter of fact. Then to Say My Name, and Jumpin Jumpin, when my sister and cousins and I would dance to the videos, I of course was Bey. As time moved on, I got older, and saw new singers come out, and I then decided I not only thought she was pretty, but had an amazing voice. It was unique and distinguished. I listen to the lyrics she sings, and some I can relate to...well most, lol. I just love to see her preform on my Beyonce experience dvd. Its amazing. I hope this year in 2009 she comes on tour here to New Orleans, and I promise, i'll be as close as possible. She is not only a great performer, but she is a true idol. No she didn't have a rough life like Keyshia Cole, or bloom into a millionaire family like Paris Hilton... she reminds me of the Selena movie though. Yes I saw some videos of Girl Tyme, she worked her way to the top! She lives two lives and i'm glad she does. In her private life, she shows the world a good person, a role model to millions of little girls. Even I, 20 years old, would be disappointed if she did something like Brittany, Paris, or Lindsey. I want to see Sasha and Beyonce around for years to come...she almost had me scared there with the end of Destiny's Child...I thought she was done too. Even I would like to see her home on cribs, but I'm guessing she turned them down. Well, I am a fan, because she does her job very well, too well!
