You are truly a classy lady for how you handled the situation with Kanye West. I Think that you should also make a statement distancing yourself from him and behavior such as his. I know that what he did isn't your fault by any stretch, but If you don't verbally discourage that kind of behavior, it's bound to happen again. He really didn't do you any favors by doing that either.

Although I am an unlikely Beyonce fan (mostly due to my age) I HAVE been a fan since "Say My Name". I admire her work, and equally admire and respect the way she presents herself, and represents her faith.

Beyonce's actions at the VMAs Sunday evening were a testament to her character. The grace, kindness, and selflessness she showed (and the widespread response it has received) is a statement to all artists - you dont' have to be "bad" to be liked, or famous. Thank you, Beyonce, for giving impressionable fans something to be impressed by! You continue to be an icon worthy of the status.

Very rarely does anyone get to see the person behind the star and last night you gave us a glimpse of what a gracious and classy lady you are. Thank you for sharing that with us, the public. I really feel that your response was spot on in light of the situation and you were very generous in your kindness. I feel sorry for Kanye, it is nice that he is supportive of you but I worry for him and where he is at that he felt motivated to do what he did. I can only speak from my own experience in the limelight that it can be overwhelming at times and cloud your judgment. I wish that someone could be Kanye’s “little angel on his shoulder” and follow him around saying things like, “maybe we should think twice before doing this or that?” Anyway, I am now a fan of yours. I would like to say I think Kanye has ruined his career and helped shoot Taylor's through the roof. I think you showed a lot of class giving her her moment. I think she should show you some class by giving you that award. She can not touch you with a ten foot poll.
I work in a hotel where we host weddings every weekend. Your song has become a wedding song anthem. I think everyone felt the way Kanye did when she won. He was right, what he did was wrong but he was right, That's your award. The world knows it, you know it and obviously Kanye knows it....

As a parent of 7 children I try to stay up to date on musicians and their music so I know who and what they are listening to. I give them my opinions about who I think are good or bad artists and who are good or bad role models.
Unfortunately there are a large number of artists who are vain and selfish. What you did for Taylor Swift at the VMA awards shows what I have always told my children that you are a talented and classy woman and that not everyone lets success jade their personalities.

I'm a 40 year old male that never in a million years would be on this blog before the other night (nothing against you, I just don't normally blog on artist sites), but I really felt what you did warranted me saying letting you know. Knowing that you'll most likely never see this, I still needed to do it because good deeds and morality go way unappreciated. Congrats on your awards and it was refreshing to see somebody do the right thing for once. Your actions are appreciated by all, not just your fans.

I think what Kanye did at the VMAs was completely rude. that was really nice of what beyonce did 4 taylor swift . however, i do think beyonce is a bit over rated....sorry but its true. ..i think kanye is on her ass bc he probably is feeling her or maybe he feels some obligation to jay-z for signing him.

I am MUCH older than many of Beyonce's fans, I'm sure. In fact, I wasn't even really a fan until the VMA awards. Although I had always considered Beyonce one of the VERY, VERY FEW actors/singers who had their priorities in order, was able to keep their private life and public life separate; very successfully, I might add. And never saw the need to make herself seem better by putting down others.
However, when she offered her spot to Taylor Swift so that the youngster might have her moment in the sun, I had a newfound respect for her!! Her parents should be VERY, VERY PROUD of their daughter. She is A HUMAN BEING with feelings, a conscious, and can distinguish right from wrong. These lines haven't been blurred for her.
I have NEVER posted a comment for anybody in anything, but I had to post this. WHAT AN EXAMPLE TO EVERYONE!
Keep it up, Beyonce. And now that I saw that, I even listened to your music and have become a fan. What a voice, what a body, what a woman!

I loved this performance so much!! First B starts alone then but the end there are countless women dancing behind and beside her! Not long into the performance, she completely owned the stage and show like it was her concert! Amazing performance...Sasha Fierce was shining and then immediately after the song, our B came back to flash a sweet smile and a tender 'thank you'...I love seeing the transition between SF and B!!

have you ever seen a female who can dance and sing like Beyonce? I don't think so..
