Once again Beyonce did a remarkable job and her haters are pressed. It doesn't matter what this woman does, the media or some from the general public will find a flaw in her work. At the end of the day, whether this was lip-synced or not, she was incredible. This means she was either: incredible in the studio & at lip-syncing or incredible live. Some reports are indicating the Band Director's words were misquoted and there was no direct response or insinuation that she wasn't singing live. I personally love this version regardless but I also feel her rendition at the Superbowl was the best of all time. I'm a fan, not a stan yet I really dislike the overly critical and hatred behavior I see towards this woman. It seems to me that many are just upset at her success when the truth is you have to be talented in order to be or remain successful. Bey has been in the business for a long time now. Her vocal ability and talent are unquestionable. She does not have to prove that she can sing or handle this song for her career speaks for itself. To the haters: GET OVER IT! To Beyonce: GREAT JOB, YOUR FANS LOVE YOU!

I think that she probably did lip sync, but there's nothing wrong with that. what if she thought she would mess up because of the weather? Anyway, a LOT of performers do that at some events. it's happened before, so why should Beyoncé be the one that gets called out for it? She did an amazing job anyway.

i guess there's some flack about beyonce lip-synching the national anthem at the inauguration. according to some media accounts, some people are "enraged" (truly, i've read that). i watched the ceremonies, and thought ms. beyonce did an excellent job. i understand that under the conditions of the performance, lip-synching is an accepted practice, one sometimes used by professionals under trying, or difficult circumstances. now the truth is i barely know who beyonce is, other than she's immensely popular, and considered very talented. my tastes run toward texas singer-songwriters with 3 names (townes van zandt, ray wylie hubbard, for example). i post just to let her know that there are people out here who are not your hard-core fan base who support you, and find no wrong in what you did. you did a wonderful job, i now see why you're so popular.
