I gotta confess...the first time I saw the "Diva" video, I pretty much hated it, but I know that I'll start loving it just because it's from Beyonce. "Halo" dind't turn out to be what I expected (wich doesn't surprise me, considering, again, it's Beyonce) but I loved it.It just seems to me that in this video Beyonce is more "comfortable", and it fits perfectly with the "I am..." concept, wich is to show a softer and more personal side of her.

I am sorry, but I don´t like the Halo video, it is simple, the song is beautiful, the best of cd, but the video not. Diva video is better.

I've seen the videos. Not via iTunes, though...sorry, but spending $4.00 to be among the first to watch the two videos exclusively was not an option for me (everybody ain't so sick and filthy with Benjis that they cain't spend 'em, ya dig?).

Especially when I figured they were going to be free on YouTube or some other medium sooner rather than later (which of course, they were), I was just like, "Nah, I'm just gonna wait it out".

But anyway, I enjoyed the videos overall. Diva is too fierce for my eyes. I had to take the video in doses, 'cause Sasha came with her (div)A-game...she is on some other ish...I mean, mannequins, and cars blowing up, a fan made out of bills, voguing with golden robots, the fashion, especially the fashion...everything was just over the top. And the choreography was great--matched really well with the hard-hitting lyrics and beat. I've been hearing some say that they wished it was more hood, but I think the hood factor level was appropriate, whatever the hell that means.

Halo, if I can be perfectly honest, was kinda dull. There were some adorable parts, like the couple brushing their teeth together, and reading and dancing together, and just laying around together, and her fixing his tie and whatnot. The water scene was very nice, also. But the studio dancing parts, and him looking down on her...weird. And although the lighting was supposed to be experimental and give the illusion of being ethereal and heavenly and pure, I think it was used maybe a little too much. Maybe. But I'm going to stop dissecting the vids, 'cause they are what they is, which would be two decent visual depictions of two of some of the best tracks from IA...SF.

Can't wait to see these songs performed live.
